Instuctor
for 10th Dan Grand Master Soke Takayuki
Kubota over 20 years. 5th degree
black belt in Gosoku Ryu karate and has maintained the title of
So-Shihan Dai which
makes him Master Kubota's successor. He is also a
plank owner and the Soke Dai of Hojutsu-Ryu. Black belt ranking in kobudo
(traditional weapons),certified Kubotan (keychain) instructor.
International
Grand Champion of both heavyweight sparring and
weapons forms at the IKA 2000 World Cup Tournament.

Senior police officer

S.W.A.T team; sniper. Master firearms instructor and master Defensive tactics instructor with the

STEVEN M. RYAN
Steven
M. Ryan is a retired Police Officer with 22 years
experience. A former SWAT Team Commander, Mr. Ryan
continues to teach firearms and swat to law
enforcement and military agencies. His martial arts
background includes a black belt in KoKonDo Karate
and a brown belt in Jokedo Judo. He has studied
several other forms of martial arts as well. Mr.
Ryan was one of the original black belt plank owners
in Hojutsu-Ryu. He is currently a private security
contractor in Iraq.

GREG LAWSON
Greg
Lawson is a detective with the Travis County
Sheriff’s Office. He has taught pistol, shotgun,
rifle, impact marksmanship and tactics. Police
defensive tactics instructor. He is a former
S.W.A.T. team member, Army Paratrooper, Navy
Operations Specialist, and Air Force Firearms
Instructor. He is a 1st dan in Taekwon-do, 1st dan
in Hojustu-ryu, and 1st dan in Hakka-Ryu Jujitsu.

SCOTT ADAMS
Employed with Fairbanks Police Department since
1996. Currently a Sergeant with the Fairbanks Police
Department. Field Training Officer, Dual tasked as
SWAT Sniper Sergeant and as an Entry Team Member.
Lead firearms instructor. Certified Instructor in
Handgun, Shotgun, Patrol Rifle and Submachine Gun.
He is a 1st dan
in Hojustu-ryu and currently studies Karate under
So_shihan Charles Scott.
